Like I said, it chaps me to see A’s doing it. Though PWA legal, I’d like to see the contract change in that department to keep it from happening. It’s abrogating seniority. But that change will likely never happen.

Just looking at trip coverage, OOBWSs are way more rare than GSs. I see more G#>1 than O on the trip coverage which goes to show juniors in base are not available when the assignments are made.

In upgrade at the Hilton so chatting with some of the new hires. A lot of them got NYC but want another base. Is it “frowned upon” to try to drop an entire NYC schedule on the swap board then OOBWS yourself a Seattle month? Staffing permitting in both bases obviously. Is this a thing that guys do when they can’t get the base they want? Just curious what advice I should give them. I’m not a commuter so don’t know the schemes.
