The exact same number that stayed past 60 prior to 2007 - zero. Dude you are having a lot of trouble with a simple concept.

On a totally different subject a DAL VEOP Pilot is starting at Envoy and get this, they are starting him at the maximum Captain pay rate. He said he is starting at $231.75 and gets a 55K Bonus after IOE. Not too bad for a new hire FO considering he is still getting 58 hours of DAL CAPT VEOP pay and he lives in DFW. Talk about hitting the jackpot. They are essentially giving him credit for his time at Delta, not for seniority but for pay purposes. Obviously Envoy is getting very aggressive recruiting Pilots - this seems unsustainable.

I say good on him! That's making the best of an in-demand time for pilots. Ride that gravy train as long as possible.

I'm always curious about what age people retire at but I've never seen any reliable data. ALPA put this out today in the random newsletter and I'd say it seems pretty typical. Most guys going out at 65.

On that list of 27, nearly 1/3 were already “out sick” on disability, in SIC category. They didn’t make it to 65… unless there’s something we don’t know…

That’s an excellent point. How many people going to 65 are still active fliers

I believe it but they stay on the seniority list so its hard to gauge what age they went out, I'd love to see in depth data from ALPA but I doubt they want to give out info on LTD use.
