That’s too bad. Except for sea220, The highest captain seat i can hold percentage wise is upper 70s% 73N in Seattle and I’m currently DTW350B and could’ve held the 330 in DTW, NYC, or SEA.

If you can't hold NYC 330B, then you can't hold any A position in SEA, ATL, or LAX. Unless you're only referring specifically to the last AE. It didn't have any widebody spots on it so that is to be expected.

The new SLC is optimized for International. Everything else is pretty inconvenient but…I guess we’ll see how well it works out when we have a real international presence. For us.
Can anyone comment on the real world pay and QOL difference between narrowbody A (320/73) and 330 B? Assuming a medium to lower seniority narrowbody Captain could hold somewhere above 50% on the widebody B side, is this a move worth making?

NB A is a way to chase dollars and fly with your favorite captain every time. Even the senior B guys are getting hammered on the NBs right now, so if you don't care about holidays or weekends, might as well go for the cash. Senior NB Bs can make up a lot of the difference with GS but in certain categories, there are so many A GSs going out, the LCAs are getting p!ssed as they figure out how much money they are losing for the cool lanyard and the opportunity to work 20 days a month.
Just like anywhere else, seniority is the weapon but less so when the QoL difference between the 40% guy and the 80% isn't really that discernible.

The WB B is a good life IF you can get your rest with the backside flying. 350B to Asia is hyper efficient. A few legs a month. Watch your landings. Some guys disappear into the right seat WB black hole and are never seen again.

Pay is great, especially GS. Schedule sux, I mean regression of 10+ years sux. Never worked a holiday after the kids were born. Now I'm regretting the upcoming holidays. The oldest only has a few more at home. My scheduling manipulations are coming up short for Thanksgiving, so far. The holiday and surrounding days carve out is tough to overcome in the bottom 50%. MDed on the MOAD was raw, commute, downgrade or upgrade. B=QOL A=$

I’m 40% in base and trip quality is dismal. Last 3 days: redeye to ATL for a 11 hour day over to fly to Phoenix same day for another 11 hour layover to fly 3 legs (12 hour duty) to get rerouted into another 11 hour layover. Also had to execute a go around last night. Plus or minus 15-20 on short final and 65 knot crosswind at 3000ft. I’ve never had so many pax thank us for getting them on the ground though lol. Good times. Can’t get to WB B soon enough

If you can “hold” A at 70% you can hold 330B or 765B even better in NYC.

yeah unfortunately from what I see seniority isn’t doing much for trip quality. Looking at the trips the top 20% are flying and it’s still the same crap. It’s not like they are flying cush 1-2 leg days into a long layover.
