I'm hoping that also means a shorter OE and consolidation requirement, but can't find a data source.
Yup. Shorter OE if you did the RAD. Look at FOM 20.6.1.2.3.3

I believe it is still standardl consolidation because the 350 isn't considered a 330 variant.

Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for.

This omicron variant is making people realize that COVID isn’t killing everyone. People are still traveling. Half of my family and friends have omicron right now. Obviously mRNA isn’t the way long term. Obviously a fabric mask isn’t working.

Allllll of these people are getting Covid, and life is going on.

Delta is already behind staffing wise. My category doesn’t have 25% of the required reserves on a single day in January. Formerly known as a slow month.

But yes sailing, this is a good thing. So that when June rolls around we can “run a little hot.” Good lord.

The vicissitudes of these virus variants are quite vexing!

I know the jet will easily do IAD-LAX.
I thought it was short field limited though with 200 souls on board
Some will be configured with delta one suites and will carry something like 142 pax

In other words, delivery schedule will be caught up by end of year and basically double deliveries this year.
Looks like a false rumor. That would be $11b in 321s in a single year at list prices. Even with a 50% discount, thats a lot of Capex in a year earmarked for restoring finances. We renegotiated with AB just to delay spending more than we absolutely needed, & it appears we are still on that path. It'll be interesting to see our orderbook in the latest 10k.

Our orginal pre pandemic delivery schedule was intense. 80 annual net airline deliveries, now its about 40 every year. Source, 10K 2019 vs 10k 2020.

321neo Deliveries
Original / Updated

2020: 1 / 0
2021: 41 / 0
2022: 40 / 18
2023: 18(balance) / 20
YE2022 net 321neo: 82 / 18

YE2022 net A223: 36 / 17
YE2022 net A339: 30 / 20

Thanks! It’s been a bit of a saga, but if this is the worst that happens for the rest of my career, I will consider myself very lucky.
