Agreed, but APC was way more helpful than my “mentor,” and though I didn’t ask many questions on here, all the other noobs who did provided easily searchable answers to many of my questions. Yes, the PWA will spell out the letter of the law, but this board (like random bidding/scheduling conversations with captains on a 5 hour LAX leg) helps fill in some of the gaps and makes it make sense. I’ve also found that a lot of the noob questions devolve into deeper more nuanced responses that are loosely related to the question, but helpful. Also, noob questions take up less space on here than posts about Miatas and politics, which benefit absolutely nobody ever.

BLOB: noob questions just add to the collective knowledge contained on APC. Scroll past them if you don’t like ‘em.
