Prepare Yourselves… 2022 AEs

Just checked and well I'll be damned it's true. Retires in 2059. Will be in command of a Widebody across the Atlantic in their 20s. Possibly on a Greenslip if they live local. What an amazing opportunity.
Looking at the Captain awards there are several pilots who retire 2056+ with the youngest I've seen retiring in 2061, NYC73NA. We might be on the cusp of a 23 yr old Delta Captain on the Widebody AE. What a time to be an airline pilot

Tell me about it. I took a junior upgrade on the 88 my first year. On one commute the FO decided to lecture me about how that was a bad idea because he could make the same amount of money just by picking up greenslips. To do this, he had to violate policy to use the wifi inflight to adjust his schedule. He then proceeded to pick up a trip that prevented him from going home that day, He had to call his wife to tell her that he wasn't going to be home for a few more days to make X amount of money. Meanwhile, I did my reserve stint, went home, and never had to think about open time.
But I don't live close enough to be a green slip ninja.
I don't plan anything on my reserve days and I forget about delta when I'm off.
The only GSs I've done have either been a DH to where I live or something that pops when I'm already in NYC commuting home.

Alright what's next? Do we keep this thread or make a new one titled "MOAWBB" (mother of all wide-body bids)?
