Oh okay I figured as much! What are guys doing now I’m assuming I’ll start a trip out of another base then! Or I should say where is the plane going nowadays?

TOE can just be Hawaii due to recent changes so you may not get an out of base OE trip. As for the regular line flying once your qualified, it’s almost entirely domestic transcons, Florida, and Hawaii. Lots of Boston lately. Category is rumored to close this year or next. Good crews though and the Hawaii stuff is nice especially this time of year. Welcome aboard!

This kinda got skipped over a few pages back and I had a question…

Are you flying right now or are you NQAT?

The Jr CA, I believe is 37hrs old, he might have a family and that’s a good pay jump. In 4yrs, when his seat locks expires, might want to go to another plane/job.

Its been that way for NYC several times over my career. This is not the first time. I doubt the contract has much to do with it. It’s the volume of hiring. NYC will always be junior.

FYI SEA7ERB is one of the categories being considered for closure on the next 365 AE. a SEA 320 base is slated to open this year as the 321NEO will takeover Hawaii flying. 7ER flying will be allocated elsewhere, probably Florida...(sarcasm)

To do this, he had to violate policy to use the wifi inflight to adjust his schedule. He then proceeded to pick up a trip that prevented him from going home that day, He had to call his wife to tell her that he wasn't going to be home for a few more days to make X amount of money. Meanwhile, I did my reserve stint, went home, and never had to think about open time.
Wow, some folks are brave. Why would you do anything that creates a company timestamp while you are blocked out especially blocked out and inflight. Yikes. On your other point, I agree completely, not having to do any pick ups and still receiving a great paycheck is a huge benefit of upgrading.

There are quite a few users of this forum that do this regularly. Ever wonder how some accounts are able to defend management's decisions 24/7?

This forum is mostly anonymous. iCrew schedule changes are not anonymous. Acknowledgement of WS and GS have a timestamp
