I’d go for that. Looks comfortable, neat, functional and professional without looking like Captain Obvious.
My wife worked for a Atlanta based fortune 50 company for many years in branding and marketing. She said she never understood the reason for the Delta Uniform.
One night we were watching the original Midway with Charlton Heston. He and other officers are standing on the bridge of a navy ship. My wife asks “isn’t your uniform based on the navy uniform”. Yes I replied. She then said “why don’t their uniforms look like yours”? I told her ours is based on the dress uniform, and they are wearing more of a “working” uniform. “Well if they wear a working uniform to to drive the ship, why do you wear a dress uniform to fly the plane?”

Because the reason we wear a ‘dress’ uniform is for walking through the terminal, and advertising. Plain and simple.

And for duck walking under a wing dripping with deice fluid and standing in a greasy wheel well. Just like the Navy Captains of yore.

You will wear it and like it or TP Ball and Charlie D. will haunt your garage and gremlinize your Miata.

Based off a white star line captain outfit which was based off a navy uniform for another navy. Same reason we wear caps inside. If passengers wanted it, the company would try to dress us as Barney the purple dinosaur.
