Yup. Haagars and Cut above. Work good, last long time.

Yeah long sleeve guys, jury is still out with me. Speaking for myself, I have to wear something to cover me as I have some skin cancer issues I need to deal with. So I use the slip on Adidas sun protection sleeves (SPF 50 protection) on my arms when I fly. I just slide them on. Work great. That way I don't wear the long sleeve shirt as I find them pretty uncomfortable. The Adidas sleeves work good and I can take them off whenever I need to versus the long sleeve shirt
Would these work for tattoo cover up?

Signed, long sleeve weirdo.

Fact. “Covered by a part of the uniform” limits the options significantly.

Yes. Give them a try.

Flew with a CA from MSP on the 88 from time to time. He had a cool tat "sleeve" on one arm - he used them to cover it up when at work.

Yeah it would be nice. I have a 3/4 sleeve tattoo on one arm, and my older self would commit high crimes to be able to wear SS in the summer. Just don’t know if it would look unprofessional during no jacket season and get called out by a CP.

I wear a cut above shirts and pants. Neither require the cleaners (although I still send my shirts) and are well made IMO.

Yeah I see what you're saying.

I put them on once in the seat up front. I take them off after the shutdown check. Rest breaks about 50/50 on whether I take off or not. I only wear them when sun is a factor. They are easy to don/doff though. But yeah I think you might be pushing it wearing them thru the terminals. IDK, maybe try it and see? The Adidas actually look good. No funky patterns and just a logo that is easily hid when turned to the inside.

I saw one guy wearing one on my commute last month. Perhaps something I try when I’m not a probie. It’s not bad until it’s in Savannah in July; or when I read about how everyone thinks I’m a weirdo 🥱🥱

There's not much "mandate" for extra van tips if the company already includes driver tips in transportation contracts.Maybe its not universal but several have said that's the case.

That's not a pro or anti driver tip issue. You are free to tip however much you want. But when the company includes it then its hard to make the claim that its your "expense" just because you want to be the one seen giving it.

There should be an extra allowance for pilots expected to duck walk under low wings and stand in wheel wells too.
