Currently on SC that started at 1000. They put a trip on my schedule last night at 2000 that reports at 1400 in the SC window. I have not acknowledged that trip. They haven't called me about the trip once I started SC. They must contact me with a phone call on SC no matter what, correct? So if they never notify me I would not need to report for this trip?

The only way it can tell you did a schedule check is if you log on to iCrew, ignore the notification and view schedule. I'm assuming the OP just used MiCrew.

Considering I can see on my monthly schedule when a friend checks my schedule via MiCrew, I’m going to go out on a limb and say the company knows when you have looked at your own schedule via MiCrew.

Sailing, I know your heart is in the right place, but we cannot ever let said camel’s nose under the tent. What’s next, rest notification “required” but not really if you are on probation? No, the OP is absolutely protected if CS fails to do their job.

The reason why MiCrew doesn't count for the post-reserve assignment schedule check is because scheduling can't verify it was done.

Whatever. Totally irrelevant. The PWA is clear, and binding on required notification.

I agree with you that the PWA is clear...I wasn't disputing that. Just pointing out that to think the company doesn't know when you looked at your schedule on MiCrew is foolish.

When one of my friends looks at my schedule, I see there 6 digit number, name, the date time they looked, at it say "via Micrew", so to think that the company has no idea how you looked at your schedule, regardless of whether it updates the times on your monthly schedule, is foolish.
Yes, the PWA says schedule checks have to be done via icrew or VRU, but I'm willing to bet the company can 100% see that you looked at your schedule via Micrew. My guess on why its not an approved method is because we all know about the garbage transfer of data between DBMS and Micrew showing erroneous trips with the wrong equipment, or all legs as DH's, etc.

You have the PWA reference handy Tennis? You’re probably right but I thought you still had to do a schedule check when starting a block of reserve, so essentially at midnight assuming no partial. I know the 9 hour cutoff for when you can show, but I always figured if they tagged you even at 2359 they wouldn’t call since that assignment would show up in the required schedule check.

And the only required schedule checks are after an assignment and you must determine if you've been assigned prior to the 1500 on an x day because they won't contact you.

I'm aware that it doesn't update on the monthly schedule time/date block, but do you know for a fact that it doesn't display somewhere else that we can't see but the schedulers can?
