Also, it sounds like you may be inputting a "swap with pot" which is not what you want.
Also in the Icrew PCS menu is "leave requests"
Select "personal drop" button and make sure you have the correct bid period selected.
On the next screen, input the details of your trip you want to drop. When PCS runs next, if there is reserve coverage on all of those days, voila the trip will leave your Sked and move to open time.

it looks like there’s coverage on the first two days but not day 3. Would it have to have coverage for all 3 days to drop or would it in this case drop the first two and keep the 3rd? Also, does the first pcs run happen on the 20th of the month or is there no time line?
Note: a trip that releases after midnight, for purposes of dropping, is counted as an additional day. So a 3 day that pays 15:45 but releases at 0030 needs positive coverage for 4 days, since it would take a reserve with 4 days of availability to cover the trip.
The first PCS run for the following month starts the morning of the 20th the month prior. PCs runs are started no earlier than 0700, 1200, 1700, and 2220 ATL time.

yes you can. As long as you’re not subject to coverage days on the 13, you’re good. I had great luck doing that when I was 75%ish, and I know you can swap into such a schedule well junior to that

In order to personal drop a trip (with or without PB days) every day must have positive coverage.

If your gonna try that, call the pbs help line to get some ideas on how to do it. There are a few different techniques.

Also, depending on how close the 3rd day is on coverage, sometimes you can get lucky and during the PCS run the day can become covered and the drop would go through so it's still worth inputing the drop if your desire is to be rid of the trip.
Always make sure you list the trip on the Icrew swap board which can enable someone else to snag it above their credit cap if that is what they want to do. The Icrew swap board starts immediately so often people can modify their skeds even before the 20th.
Lastly, if you want, twice a year you can place "individual vacation days" (IVD) on 1-4 days of the trip, but you only can do this routine twice a year for a total of up to 4 days so chose wisely. Whatever day you place your IVD on cannot be flown on going forward, including GS's. Those dates get paid as vacation (that you pick from a future vacation) and the whole trip is dropped.
Also, once a year you can drop an "authorized personal drop" (APD) on 1 to whatever the length of trip #days, but again, whatever days of a trip you designate as APD cannot be flown on going forward, including GS's. There is no pay/credit associated with an APD.
Lastly dropping a trip with a banked PB day is next level technique and there is a whole DALPA notebook message on the DALPA website laying out all the rules permutations.

In that case, if you put the PD (personal drop) in the leave request, it will remain as a "Qualified" drop that will allow someone to white slip for it (if they so desire). The trip will remain on your schedule until someone either WS's for it or the PD goes through.

in the past, I’ve put a trip on the swap board as “just put through”. Shows as a qualified trip in open time. Can pilots take that above the WS limit?
And to clarify what I understand…a PD with no coverage is “qualified” as is a “just put through” on the swap board? So, essentially the same thing?
