Question regarding Extended Duty Pay and short call:
If assigned a trip near the end of a short call period, the FARs consider duty to have begun at the start of the short call availability. Would the same be true for extended duty pay? Me thinks the answer is NO,
but I've tried finding a reference without any luck.

PWA 12.A.10., 12.T.
short call is not a duty period it’s a reserve availability period for the purposes of the PWA.
this is particularly important in cases when the company attempts to delay your report and you acknowledge.

Just a friendly reminder for reserve pilots out there in this mess:
If you are on SC, and subsequently are assigned an FDP, you cannot extend that FDP under any circumstances. Not 30 minutes, not 2 hours. It is a hard limit.
Your RAP + FDP limit is the lesser of the Table B FDP time + 4 hours, or 16 hours, whichever is less. And again within those calculations you cannot extend your FDP even if the extension keeps you within the B+4/16 window.

When on a gs with the last day of the trip as an on call day, is rr pay above guarantee?
my time card only gave me 12 hours of gs pay.
it was a 21 hour trip with the “on call” day blocking 8 hours. There was 6 hours of rr pay and “add” pay of 4 hours but the gs number never moved. Seem too little

if you are given a trip with scheduled block 3.5 hours day 1 and 8.0 day 2, you’ll more than likely get paid block 11.5 as it’s higher than 5.15 times number of days the trip touched past 0200. The total credit based on ADG for this hypothetical is 10.30 (5.15*2) which is less the scheduled block. Our contract doesn’t pay us 5.15 on day 1 because it’s higher than the block value. Hence *average* daily guarantee.
Hubcapped take a look at Negotiator’s Notepad 24-03 for how to calculate reroute pay. The critical part of this is how to look at the different pays on a rotation like the scheduling committee would see them. In iCrew on the web go to Pre-Flight - Archived Rotations.
this page also helps you determine what each day is worth so you can have a clear idea of what spillover trips pay and where.

As stated, anything that is "pay/no credit" will have a blank in the "credit" colum on your time card (like EDP, Carve, Sit, Holiday, Reroute, etc), and always goes above guarantee. It's "the phrase that pays"

ADG isn’t a minimum guarantee of 5:15 pay each day of the trip. It is an average guarantee. Simple answer:
