Perhaps try the STS inquiry (formerly ACE inquiry) for an official answer?
lol what are your ties with Ace? I’ve had multiple inquiries with STS being answered much faster than when we had Ace. Overall, STS is doing a great job from a user experience compared to Ace

LOL, ALPA literally copied ACE’s interface, right down to the pulldown menu labels (except they added the Crew Assist Case number as a requirement to submit an report). STS and ACE Inquiries are both equally limited by the Sched Committee person getting to your request from the cue, however long that may be.

nothing proprietary about Ace and no competitive advantage if it was that easy to copy. Saving $1m / year while we are at it. Good move by ALPA IMO

Let me know when STS starts auto-identifying PWA and 117 violations

as a pilot you shouldn’t even be violating 117, so you have to tracking that yourself. My former carrier had a 3rd party app that tracked all the 117 limits on a better version of MiCrew - monthly, daily, and would post yellow if you were approaching limits and red if an assignment made you violate the 117 limits. FC View, amazing app for your schedule. American has / had it, Frontier, and a few regionals. So STS wouldn’t help with tracking FAR 117 violations since we aren’t even supposed to fly something illegal.

Bingo. It amazes me how few people get that. 5S had spent the remuneration investing is this capability, and had programmed ACE to do much of that for more than a year before it got shut down, and 5S turned part of it on in their last couple weeks to prove it. But DH didn’t know/understand enough to save the massive enforcement tool he was throwing away. And it would have cost ALPA Pennies on the dollar to own it.
