Ah, got it. Maybe we should standardize an acronym like PBBT8 for the swap board comments - Payback Burner Trip with 8 to burn.

If you don't buddy swap and drop/pickup your own trip a couple times, I understand you can do that up to the WS limit, but I need help understanding what exactly the WS limit is. I see it defined as ALV+15, so lets say ALV is 72, does that mean you can pick up 87 hours of white slips? Or does it mean your montly total of normal rotations plus a few white slips can't exceed 87 hours?

Also, what happens if a Res rotation releases late into a golden X day, nothing special right? 2 extra hours pay no credit if released 0000-0159, but a full PB day if it releases 0200 or later? And by full PB day, I mean you "don't notice" it until submitting an inquiry at the end of the month of course.

Pickup Limit math is displayed on your monthly schedule, lower left cornet....it's total of awarded credit and pickups combined....you can't have 72 hours of PBS awarded rotations and then WS pickup an additional 87 hours.

Anyone use the new spillover preferences going from reserve to regular line? Do you also have to put in a yellow slip as well?

Anyone know if shortcall counts toward EDP? For example, sit short call for 4 hours and then do a 8 hr duty period?

The only way to be considered for a rotation that goes into reg days off is via YS, which if awarded will be a proffer.

It does not. Short call is a RAP, not a Duty Period.

The question is do you have to put in a preference for a YS and a Spillover Preference. I did not (only a spillover preference) and was awarded a trip under this scenario. The PWA Implementation guide on DeltaNet and the SRH don’t really address it and could be construed as conflicting. The two menus in icrew, Yellow Slip for On-Call Days and Spillover Preferences look almost identical.

I always read it as spillover preferences is like 'If needed' and YS was to volunteer for rotations in front of those that had the if needed preferences in. Can't build bank pb days doing that though so I haven't tried.
