Reserve for Dummies

Hisdude, this is a much mo accurate way of stating it. One thing to add is that if you don't have any reserve days left, then any PR becomes a full PB in the bank.

Thanks for the replies! And sorry, one more GS question: on reserve, awarded a 2 day GS originally worth 10:56. We timed out for the last 2 legs due to a MX delay, so now icrew shows that the “sked time,” “pay time,” and “res assign g/slip pay” all dropped to 10:30. Is that correct since I’m on reserve? Or should I be paid for the original 10:56?

Minor correction for the actual characters used: In iCrew, on the timecard, under "RES GUAR". That is the only number applicable to being "Full" (which, once again, does NOT need to be reflected on your schedule. So don't bother calling CS to mark you "Full", it's merely an internal cue for them. If your "RES GUAR" is 0:00 and they assign you a trip, you have no obligation to do or say anything. That is 100% a 'them' problem. If you choose to call and them them, that's a courtesy)
