Does anyone remember a scheduling alert about rest after training and reserve call out rules? I'm trying to figure out if you get put into 10 hours rest after CQ does it then it turn into a long call situation? Or do you have to do the schedule check the day before for a possible assignment?

There is a scheduling alert specifically about this, but I can't remember the number offhand. I just posted on this not too long ago. You are guaranteed 9 hours free from duty after the end of your sim (ATL based) or the DH scheduled with your training pairing for non-ATL people. Plus you are not required to be on call at any point during a day of training or a travel day to/from training. So if your scheduled DH or sim releases at 2100, you get 9 hours free till 0600 the next day at which point you are on 12 hour LC. If your DH/sim releases at 1030 you go back on LC at midnight. Either way there is no schedule check in this situation so an early report assignment is not possible.

A quick glance at the "Index of Scheduling Alerts", which is also in the ALPA section Aerodocs btw, leads me to Alert 19-01 Reserve Obligations During Training. I'd probably start there.

Lets say a guy is on reserve, is on a stretch of days off, and see's a trip in OT they'd like to yellow-slip in 2 days time to pick their poison since they are probably gonna be the #1 guy to be awarded the other crap trip sitting in OT. Whens the earliest PCS run one can YS and be awarded a trip? The day before?

Looked through the PWA/SRH/Sked alerts but can't seem to see where it's spelled out.

YS don’t go thru PCS. Manually done by scheduling. So day prior after the 0700 PCS run. Or I assume 2 days prior once the new coverage process goes into effect in June.

Someone can check me because I don't have it in front of me, but I believe YS on X days is also a separate step on the ladder.

It is. 23.N.5, right after an LC and SC reserve pilots. And has its own “slip” in iCrew. If you try to put in a YS for a trip including an X-Day, you will get an error and it won’t accept it.

Help a frustrated noob understand:

I got a swap with the pot in. A 4 day for another 4 day over the exact same dates at the end of the month. Rule auditor says it's good. Trip is still in OT. Request has been in for a few days now. It does not go into the following bid period. Why hasn't it been processed yet?

Last 6 days or so are locked until bids are awarded once the bid window closes.

Completely forgot about that, thank you. I will go back to complaining about how much better IT my regional airline had.
