Yes. All recommendations have to be uploaded to AirlineApps.

True this, but my suggestion would be to also include a "suggested/sample" LOR that you took the time to compose . Then (hopefully) all the person has to do is "wordsmith" minor changes to the story of how great you are. Who is more vested/knowledgeable about you, your career and the catch phrases the legacy carriers are currently "consumed" with. Hopefully, you have done your due diligence and with the prep you have been doing as an applicant you can control your "story" better than your "writer friend". I know that the recc's that I have written, I always appreciated the gesture from the applicant and I can tell you that my kid has written close to a hundred of recc's and that is the way it goes down. IDK, maybe it's a military thing. (BTW, when I contact the person I am asking to do the favor of, I do say something like, " I have taken the liberty of composing a sample draft for your perusal. Feel free to use any/some or all of it and/ort change it to reflect your writing style.) This could be especially helpful if the recommendation is from more of a character reference ....like a volunteer organization that you do charitable works for. BTW, I would also coordinate with the person to see what he was going to submit, PRIOR to him uploading it....a whole host of reasons for that....

I don’t think I had anything that was really out of the ordinary. I just made sure that my app was as perfect as it can be.

Sweet. I have my app reviewed by a company already so it looks good. I have just been updating flight times and hoping for the best!

Pile on: I would give a week after you see their rec populate in airlineapps and then re-publish your app. I didn’t and probably cost myself a month’s wait on my invite.

Has anybody with paper logs gone into the interview with small time discrepancies between airline apps and logbook?

I have a 20 hour discrepancy in TT and a few hour discrepancy in PIC time that for the life of me I can’t find in my over 8000 hours. Still some time to look for it, but has anyone had any issues with something like this during the app / logbook review?

Cheers all.

I was in your same situation. 8500+TT going into the interview(s), paper log books all by hand, and my airline apps flight time totals (TT and PIC) when compared to my paper logs were off by 100 hrs and 80 hrs respectively for both interviews. I know, seems like a lot. I combed over my logbooks again and again trying to isolate the error. Found a few errors but could not get everything to completely match up (When I would find an error and adjust one column it would throw another one off). Both interviews no one on the panel said anything about the discrepancies, mentioned that my logbooks were great and clean. Maybe I was just doing so bad they didn't have time to focus on my logs!!??...... Either way wasn't an issue in multiple interviews when the paper times vs. Airline Apps times didn't completely match up. I guess that's the danger of doing it all by hand for that long, easy to make minor math errors that are next to impossible to track down?

Thanks for the reply. That’s exactly the same thing happening here, except it’s hovering around about 20hours. I’ll go through them one more time maybe I’ll have more luck. Need to go electronic finally..

I took the assessment 2.5 weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back. I’m assuming at some point they’ll reach out with a TBNT email of some sort? I know that guys have waited up to a month to get an interview invite following the assessment, but is there any idea of how long those that have failed the assessment tend to wait before getting denied?
