At this point nothing would surprise me. I just checked the seniority list to see if people are getting added to the bottom and try to be optimistic about the future

Instructor meeting late Oct, will get updates then.
I think there's an LCA gathering going on this week as well. Maybe some info will come out of that.

1100-1300 seems to be the rumor coming from the meeting.

Heard a similar number (slightly less, but ballpark) came out of the flight standards meeting. Seems the dubious APD via LCA rumor I had heard was indeed bad. Sorry I even mentioned it, even if with the caveat.

Mostly international growth next year. A solid high single digit %, which matches up with Ed’s statements in (I think?) the PS town hall that they would focus on building international after rebuilding domestic.

I don't ever think it's a bad thing to share what you've heard with the rumor caveat, no need to apologize when you were just passing along info, this forum would be boring if we didn't share what we reckon!

Looking at retirements and expected growth, 1000-1200 should be broadly the yearly hiring needs for the next few.

Has anyone gotten a call recently from attending OBAP or LPA? I didn’t hear anything from Delta after attending those conferences, but United gave me a call only a few days after OBAP. I still would like to go to Delta, but at this point I can’t wait forever if United can put me in class.

I did both RST Delta, and Emerald Coast. I liked the content of RST better, but they only had 1 mock interview session per week, which is in my opionion not enough. Emerald Coast has multiple per day, every day, which is much much more useful. I did maybe 3 RST sessions and 2 or 3 Emerald Coast sessions. IMO the mock interview sessions are BY FAR the most valuable part of interview prep. With how valuable a career at ANY major is, I figured there was no amount of $ on prep that was "too much". Basically, you could buy every single interview prep out there and make it all back on a single multi-day Green Slip. Did I over prepare? Maybe. Idk. You are not provided that feedback. Thus, I take overpreperation as the only acceptable option. Also, I got hired mid-2023. So, maybe at that point having a pulse was enough? I'll honestly never know. And it doesn't bug me. I

I agree. I know very qualified guys who didn't prep at all - some got hired, others didn't. It would really suck to be on the "not hired" side and wonder if you had just spent $500 would you have performed better and got hired. Not worth it - do the prep, no matter who you are or what your background is.

I know a kid that was a 2023 hire through a local FBO. Not a lot of prep, cost him a 6 month penalty. Probably 1200-1400 numbers. He’s 25-ish, so he’s still got plenty of time, but that’s a hard pill to swallow.

Looks like career expo will now be held virtually. Social media statement from recruiting also stated "robust hiring expected for 2025 similar to this year".

What are the best interview prep services out there? I'm hearing emerald coast.
Also, heard ready set takeoff is good and owned by a delta guy? Appreciate any info
Emerald Coast AND RST are/were FedEx guys. I've used both and RST was hands down better.
