Exactly. Reread my post…she was very successful because we are NOT good at evaluating people and are generally overconfident in our ability to do so.

My $.02. I used the trainer for 5 days before I took the actual assessment. I took it on a Friday, got the invite the following Tuesday.
1. Spatial orientation was just like the website trainer. Straight forward. I just looked at the arrow on the RMI and thought to myself it’s pointing at my 4 o’clock on the instrument, then pick the plane position that puts the fix at your 4 o’clock.
2. Reaction speed- the shapes on the real test are easier. There’s like 4 different shapes and they don’t try and trick you with subtleties. Gives immediate feedback right or wrong
3. Deductive Logical thinking: this one straight up sucked. I recommend using sudoku because it’s basically sudoku but with shapes. This is the one that was harder than the trainer on “hard.” I don’t think I did well on this one.
4. Monitoring: When there’s more than about five or six dots it’s just a guessing game. The dots move fast just like this trainer. I saw a bunch of red (incorrect responses from me) on this one.
5. Multi tasking is much like the trainer, gives you feedback. they used shapes instead of numbers. There was like 5-6 different shapes.
6. Auditory comprehension is 18 minutes to listen to 18 ATC clearances. You’re able to listen to them up to three times before choosing the answer of what was said. You’re allowed to have a pen and paper for that one and write down everything. The clearances are given in different language accents, But I’m pretty sure I got everyone of them right. I’m at the tail number, approach name or name of agency. What do you wanna pay attention to his heading squawk code, runway, altitude etc. Easy.
7. Complex control: i’ll be going to seem weird on the trainer, but the real thing was actually a lot easier. You’re basically flying yourself through these little openings in these structures as they approach you. It’ll probably make more sense once you’re doing it, but I didn’t have any issues, I thought it was pretty simple
8. The personality test: you have choose which statement you agree with more. That is what it is. Can’t really prepare for that one

Anyone happen to recall what level they got to during the complex control (tunnel test)? I noticed mine said 100 in the top right (not the speed in the bottom right) about 10 seconds before the end, so I'd assume I finished at 110-112 or so, which is probably pretty low. I felt that I made a massive mistake doing this on a laptop rather than a desktop with a standard mouse. I ended up running out of room on the trackpad several times which caused a couple collisions for me. A mouse would have made things much easier. Just a heads up.

Hope that wasn’t the case, and you get a call.

I was a retired mil pilot (F-16 and other airframes). I did not do a logbook for my mil time. I made copies of my Mil flight records. It's easy to get from the HARMS/SARMS (or whatever they are calling them today). I added a "rosetta stone" for the interview team as a cover sheet (more on that later). I flew at a regional airline for about 12 months before I got hired. My regional had a good product to print out for your flight times (I didn't keep a logbook). I took that printout and entered it into one of the many E-logbooks available, triple checked it, then printed it out. I provided this to the interview team as well. Also, make a copy of your checkride summary sheet from your FEF. I did not add any .3 or whatever they might allow to my mil time. It was straight as depicted in my records. Remember, yuo've already filled out the data on your app. This is a "QC" of that in the interview. I think we spent maybe 1.5 minutes on my flight time and checkrides during the interview.
Be professional and have your copies you provide look presentable. Don't be that guy that piles a bunch of papers on the table, not a good start. It's been awhile since I interviewed and I recall they spell it out to you in the email you get on what to bring with you and how they want it broken out. Simple. Just do what they ask.
I made sure to have my ORIGINAL Mil Flight Records (signed them out from the OSS) and my FEF on my person. I carried them in my "briefcase". The copies went in the stack as requested.
Now to the interview and my "rosetta stone" cover sheet. It wasn't required. The interview team does thousands of interviews. They know what to look for in the military folks flight records/evaluation history. I was surprised at their depth of knowledge here. The 2 Captains in my interview were not prior military, however they were very familiar with our flight record products and our FEF. TFWIW and best of luck to you all.

Is there a consensus that an interview invite 2 business days after the assessment is a pass and no contact within 2 business days after is a fail?
I used a desktop mouse and it “fell off” or lost calibration within the movement area. I’d recommend using a mouse pad or something under it to define the boundaries of movement. Also the AA assessment is almost exactly the same minus the RMI position awareness.

I took mine on the iPad using an Apple Pencil and it worked fine. The only thing I had a problem with was the shape sudoku exercise. I'm pretty sure I bombed that entire section. Still got the invite though. Super excited.
