I've been practicing the computer games on RST, and I'm having a real problem with the shape sudoku. I'm actually pretty good at real sudoku. Is there a trick to it? It seems like I do slightly better if I guess once in a while, but any hints would be greatly appreciated. (My high score so far is 11)

What is usually the time frame from applying to getting the email for the assessment?

It was a combination of a lot of things, 2020 really set me back financially and then we had our first kid. Was contemplating going to an LCC but really couldnt take an even more dramatic pay cut for training since we were in the process of buying a house in 21. I then had about 4 years of logbook to catch up on. So this last year I worked a lot on the app and finally got it out there. All while that was happening the unoffical metering reared its ugly head, and now a lot of LCC's are not hiring anymore. I will still get my app out to other places as well, might even consider a lateral move to another non-delta regional.

Hard to say, all depends on how qualified you are.

DL, UA, and AA will not consider you still at OO until OO gives their blessing. You have no idea if they will or not

Spirit is done hiring (maybe really done)
Frontier is significantly slowing hiring
Jetblue is same story
Alaska too
Hawaiian will merge or bankrupt
Southwest is pausing, but probably your best option
Breeze- maybe go there if they have direct entry
AA regionals- maybe take the money and ride it out
Netjets/Flex- new hiring practices are designed to keep pilots from wanting to go 121- might be worth a shot but not like it was before

Sorry to say- but you may have missed this wave because you are locked into OO and their unfair metering practices. I understand life gets in the way, but delaying because of a baby and house may have sentenced you to a decade longer at OO if the economy really dives. Your options to get out from their employment prison are getting more limited as economy slows.
