I am wondering how competitive my times would be with the current landscape. I am at the dreaded SkyWest, I know my best option is to go somewhere else rather than stick it out any longer, but I really want to avoid a lateral jump as much as I can.

Has anyone taken the Aon Assessment recently? When I took it last week I only had 5 components (spatial orientation, deductive reasoning/shape sudoku, multitasking, ATC read backs and the personality questionnaire).
Wondering if that's normal and they changed up the assessment thing year or was mine missing components?

Yeah, I took it last week. Only those 5 as well. Did you hear back already?

What kind of hours did y'all new hires have when you got hired? I know hiring is changing rapidly and TPIC time might become a deal breaker in the future. Just trying to figure out if I should upgrade at a Delta regional or head somewhere else to try to get to delta sooner. Like Atlas for a year or 2 on the 74 or 777. What do you think I should do?

I'd upgrade so you can add successful completion of a 121 captain upgrade and OE, log a few hours so there's not a 0 on the PIV column and jump ship if able. A successful training event says "hey, this person is trainable".

Agreed. Show the captain ability and get some experience. If you haven’t heard anything by then, asses your options with other offers. The current hiring market is rapidly changing, and it’s tough to gauge and give you advice on what exactly to do. What I do know is Delta is still hiring at high numbers, some patience and hard work will hopefully get you over. Best of luck to you!
