Short answer, no
long answer, You are hired with a 2 year seat lock starting day 1 of indoc, it can be broken for 3 reasons
1) you take your first upgrade at DL, in which case your new seat lock is added to your old seat lock.
2) DL opens a new category and you are awarded it when it opens, you will just have a new seat lock, the time from your old does not add to the new seat lock
3) after 1 year you are unable to hold your current aircraft in your desired base, you can change planes with the remainder of your new seat lock added to your new hire seat lock.
the company is free to let you break a seat lock if they wish (they don’t normally do this, but they can) also if you are displaced you can go wherever your seniority can hold and will not incur a seat lock.

I would be commuting to either base since I don't want to move

First, you can if the new plane you desire is in a different base AND your current plane is not based there
Second, you can if the new plan you desire is in a different base AND you bid your current aircraft in that new base with no restrictions AND you cannot hold your current aircraft in that new base but you can hold the new aircraft.
In either scenario the remainder of your new hire seat lock gets added to your new seat lock for changing planes.
In your specific example of getting the 320 assigned in indoc and wanting the 330, that is basically impossible to do until your 2 year new hire seat lock expires. The 320 is in every base, so scenario 1 will not apply. And for the second scenario, there is no situation where someone in the right seat of the 320 would be able to hold right seat on the 330 but not hold right seat 320 in the same base.
The last caveat is that the company can break any lock at their discretion, so bid whatever you want regardless of your seat lock, but that tends to be very, very rare so don't count on it by any means.

Ok, need a little advice from you all, I have my App in here @ Delta. Its been in for awhile, I have 14K hours - 3 types, was a Regional lifer Guy. Absolutely nothing in my back round! No 121 training failures, dui etc. BUT I haven't flown a plane for 5+ years. So lets assume that's whats holding me back for an interview. Without burning a bridge using some outfit to get current again, what would be some recommendations that could possibly attract an interview? Obviously 121/135 would be great, would flying a light twin around/glider/float plane rating be any help? Any thoughts would be helpful and Not burning some place. Thanks

I was told by a guy that does interviews that anything that's preferred but not required will move you up (I'm guessing more points in the app score). So if you haven't flown, any logable activity that keeps your skills up will help.

Hey folks, weird situation (maybe not?) Last month, I received the fix it email. I fixed what was asked of me and a week and a half later, I got another fix it email. I fixed that too. It’s been about 3 weeks since I resubmitted my app with the additional fixes. I know things are backed up, but is this normal?
