Interview prep
Did some searching and while I found some stuff most of it was a year old by now. Wondering if any one has some recommendations on prepping for the interview. Aviationsinterviews vs maybe a professional company? Latest I saw were some mixed things on the professional prep companies so curious what people are doing today and what experience they had.

heard mixed things about EC more recently? What was your experience with them? Did you find them helpful or useful? Do you think they had a significant impact on your interview?

I had a positive experience. Some of it absolutely feels like "checking the box" but overall good. It gave me good gouge along with av interviews and I ironed out some stories, anecdotes and techniques. Biggest thing it made me feel more confident and like I prepared. They asked my group how we prepped for the interview. They seem to take note of this

Videos are a bit dated but the overall message is still relevant. You'll get more updated info when you do the virtual face to face stuff. Just don't try to memorize answers and tell overly rehearsed stories. You'll sound robotic.

thanks for the advice. I don’t usually like interview prep beyond knowing what to expect by cause I like my answers to be genuine. This info was helpful though and much appreciated.

I don't think availability weighs as heavily as people might think. In my interview group last month, there was me, USAF retirement January 2024, and another USAF retiree in November 2024. I'm sure there's some special formula unknown to most, but it doesn't appear it's solely based on when you can start.

I was able to speak with a reliable source at Delta and they told me that availability does come into play when scheduling the AON testing. It has been 16 weeks since I got my Top Tier email and the folks at Delta thought that was a bit long as well. After digger they said that my availability date is about two months away form being invited for the AON testing. I was beginning to think that perhaps they had decided they found something in my application that was off. However they did tell me that my application is still active and I should expect to hear from them well in advance of my availability. Guys it pays to be persistent and fight for the things you really desire!
