If you're getting a second chance it means that you were close the first time, they don't waste resources if they aren't interested in hiring you.

Everyone goes home after indoc. I think you are guaranteed a minimum of 7 days off between indoc and when you start your aircraft training. You'll want every day of that as you'll be required to complete your systems home study in that break. 7 days is obviously doable but it's still tight. ~14 days is a much nicer break if you can land it.
As to hotels, I think your hotel during indoc is completely separate from your long term training hotel. Again with a week break I know of no one who doesn't go home. You get positive space to/from indoc, and during training you are allowed to positive space yourself to/from home at the start and end of training plus anytime you have 2 or more days off. Unless you change training sites (like going to MIA for a week) I think you just keep your hotel room assigned for the full length of training.

You will learn how long you have off after indoc, during indoc, when you receive your training schedule. Unless you don't because your fleet is backed up, in which case you're off until you have a training schedule.

You only have hotel rooms from the day before you start a training event until the final day, unless you can't get home. Weekends included. Indoc and initial are two seperate events. They will teach you on day one or two how to book positive space tickets from and back to training for the weekend. Many west coasters in my indoc class didn't go home because they'd only have 24 hours home. I believe you'll have jumpseat access by the last day of indoc. Non-rev on Delta aircraft for you and your riders is day one. Zed fares is six months down the road.

I received top tier on 4/14, AON assessment on 4/22. Completed on 4/25 with the thumbs up for an interview today, 4/26. The link showed interview dates as early as tomorrow throughout the whole month of May. You’ll put down your top 5 choices in order. I put my earliest for 2 weeks and last choice of May 23….I was assigned May 23rd.
