The topic of the thread is actually a) that there is a new process and 2) share as much info about said process so the noobs can get prepared.

Is there an HR portion? Yes.

Is to not enough / too much? Irrellevant to this thread.

Signed,

The OP.

From what I’ve heard the HR and MMPI/shrink stuff is still the same as it was.

Question Online Assessment

Would you recommend using a laptop or an iPad to complete the online assessment?

i did it on a laptop, but it’s doable on either. It’s made with touch controls in mind, but mouse works, too.

I wouldn’t do it on an old iPad, as there’s one part that needs a minimum frame rate.

I can’t imagine it being more than half a day.

While I interviewed a few years ago, the HR interview was 30-45 minutes, shrink interview was about 30, and the MMPI took 90’ish minutes (it’s almost 600 questions).

Highly dependent on background. Average I think of new hires is around 4500 hours? Single seat mil guys bring that number down dramatically. I would say for a pure civilian the average is more like 6-7k
