Plus all the hassle we put our new folks through with waiting on Cisive etc..
Just for historical context, even in more “normal” times, 7-8 weeks was typical. If someone hired between 2014-2019 had a shorter CJO-Indoc wait than that, please chime in.

I interviewed within 3 weeks of recieving receiving the invite, 8 day wait for my background check and about 3 week wait total between interview/CJO to Indoc. I was hired this year.

Pretty sure that UAL and AAL allow you to start class while your background check is pending. Delta’s is fully complete prior to starting class.

My background check was complete and I had a class date 2 weeks after my interview. I was in INDOC 4 weeks after interview. I was hired beginning of this year.

Edit - I did have to wait almost 2 months from invite to interview with selecting first available date though.

It’s currently ~ 4 months from CJO to class date.

Anecdotally myself and a few others in the same indoc class got DAL invites 6-9 months before UAL invites (which we summarily turned down). I know several other friends in the same boat. So even with 3+ month CJO to indoc timeline, DAL is still months ahead of UAL…at least for 10 or so data points I know of (I’m sure there are more like this).

How do you know when your background check is complete?

I completed the requested Csive forms, but do you receive a confirmation later on that background was successful?

I called cisive, depending on how long it has been. They can provide you details on if your packet has been submitted. You can request a copy of the packet to be sent to you to ease your mind. Friend and mine were sent in last Friday and just got the copy today.

Sorry to switch gears fellas, just curious if Delta sends out the "no thanks" emails to applicants prior to getting a chance to take the online assessment? I had a fix it email and then radio silence for about two months now. Thanks
