I had way more “slightly agree” then the other options.
I sort of absent mindedly was doing this exact thing for a little over half the test. When I realized I was doing this, figured it must be wrong and started thinking a little harder on peppering in more strongly agree and mostly agree answers when I could. I figured I'd bombed it since over half the test I was doing it 'wrong'. But I did get an interview invite so I guess I did fine. Fwiw, I felt pretty good about how I did on the cog portion.

If you are only a few hundred hours (and therefor a few months at 121/135 rates) away, I honestly don’t think it’s worth the risk of having to wait a year for another app review. Your call. Free advice is worth what you pay for it…
I personally know a delta 737 pilot that has never been a captain.

DL requirement is for 1,000 of turbine, not 1,000 TPIC

And if the other majors are doing the same thing (Blacklisting their own DCI carriers), everyone is simply poaching one another's regionals. Makes no sense.

Those pilots are going to leave for someone, it might as well be for their own 'parent'...
They are all doing the same. Not hiring from their own regionals. All my buddies at PSA are going to Delta and United. AA won’t touch them.

We addressed this a few pages back. We are not talking about Turbine PIC, We are talking about the published requirement for 1,000 hours of turbine time, be it SIC or PIC.

Precisely. When everyone is poaching other Regionals, the net result is the same. It’s shortsighted and dumb.

I missed that point about the turbine time. Same guy had his 1000 turbine, barely. All SIC

yes. I agree it’s very shortsighted and costly how management is handling the hiring at the moment.

According to conversations today, Delta is setting up a pathway to hire CFI's into mainline without an ATP. They will do the ATP-CTP course in house through a training center Delta owns.

Not the worst idea I’ve ever heard.

Rumor about putting mins on CA upgrade? Read it somewhere recently. Wondering if it was mentioned?
