Default Job fair

Does anyone have any information at what to expect for the delta job fair. Coming from the 135 world and looking to do anything to get my app looked at. Just some “why delta” and general get to know you/your career type questions?

You're caught between the immovable object Captain and the irresistible force Regulation. What do you do?

Expect a heavy challenge to whatever your answer is. Don't get flustered.

That's like 90% of most interviews.

For those that got the assessment invite, followed by a TBNT, just curious on average how long did that take? I know allot of people have not heard back for awhile. Wondering if no news is regarded as good news

Hey, rookie question, but I keep hearing about the review board called PARB. What does that stand for and why would you get sent to it?

I had to email them after day 7, but got the invite at 1130 that night.

You answered half the question I was logging on here to ask (has anyone recieved the results outside of normal business hours). Part 2 to the question, has anyone recieved the results of the assessment on the weekend? Wasn’t sure if I should stop checking my email until Monday. Thanks.

pilot (something) review board. You get sent to it if you pass all stages of the interview but get flagged during the chat with the shrink. Basically to make sure you aren’t crazy. There is a decently high pass rate but they wait for a sufficient number of people to be flagged until they summon the council, that way they can go through a bunch in a short amount of time. No idea who merits being on the review board but I’m pretty sure there’s at least some pilots on it. Nothing to sweat!

Paperwork is the most important thing in the whole process, as well as being likeable and sociable. Being a weirdo loner will be noticed…

You gotta give ‘em something but just remember they aren’t your psychologist.
