There is nothing to “earn” on the online assessment. It basically comes down to a pseudoscientific personality test that you can’t study for. It’s essentially just like the hogan at United, which about 3 months ago they started calling all the guys who had “failed” the hogan and told them oops you actually passed please interview….. In reality it’s actually disqualifying a lot of guys who did “earn” it. Tons of military, regional CA and LCA with college degrees with great resumes have failed the assessment.

Either way, the MMPI 2 or the physiologist will flag the person, it will be sent to the PARB. For what I’ve seen lately, more and more people get their CJO pulled by the PARB. Which it means that the assessment is easier than previous versions, which btw you had to do it in person, with a proctor and a camera in the room watching everyone.
My point is, that there are people that believes they are entitled to the job because they have “good/great résumés”, it’s not just about that. Heck, I know people with more than 2-3 failures getting a call. People that were fired from a regional 4-5 yrs ago, getting CJOs.

Again, you gotta earn it. Means that you have to do a self study of yourself, you can have a great resume, but that doesn’t mean you’re a great person.

I can assure you I have "Earned" my spot at any airline given my past and work ethic.
I won't end up coming to DL Even if I get a re invite, I am just poking fun at you guys for still using this antiquated method of screening. United is the same and im sure AA is too.
I know several acquaintances, some I even consider friends who are over there and I can assure you, the screening does not work. A lot of people just answer these tests to pass and get the job. I just think its sad many of us at a LLC are getting the failed email yet DL talent acquisition is crying about pulling people from their own regionals who are pretty much doomed at this point. Alot of them , including me, are not going to bother coming back when there are 1000-2000 people ahead of us, most of them in their 20s we can't even dream about making it anywhere near the top of the list at retirement.
The fact is that it will eventually go away, hell you will be hiring CFIs is 2-3 years at this pace, maybe less. Good luck to you all

I want you to closely read what you just said and think about it. You literally said it’s not about good resumes and people with multiple failures and no degrees are getting hired because they can pass a psudoscientific personality test. Maybe instead of dropping the real standards (like turbine PIC, college degree,LCA etc) they should have started with their subjective and flawed personality test.
Also, people believe that they failed the personality test, when the reality no one knows what it was the failure of the assessment. It could be the personality or it could be the cognitive part of the assessment.
You can’t answer what you think “delta wants” on the test.

Again, they can drop the personality test on the assessment, there’s still another 500ish question personality test and a physiological test the day of the interview. It’s your opinion that it’s a pseudoscientific, subjective and flawed.

I think earning something means doing everything you can to enhance your resume (TPIC, Chief Pilot, Military, LCA, no failures etc).
It seems your idea of earning something is passing a subjective personality test or playing shape sudoku.
As it stands your idea of earning it is in line with the Delta pilot selection team’s idea of earning it. My idea of earning it is not.

What it comes down to is the difference in opinion in what you think “earned” is vs what I think “earned” is.
