For those of you that received an invite for the assessment and also had internal LOR(s), how long did it take to get the invite? I have multiple internal LORs and am still waiting on the invite.

I still have not heard from DL or been offered a class date. Is this a normal amount of time to wait? Should I try to contact someone? How long is the typical wait for a class date? I know of others who have accepted CJO's after me and have started class already. No military background, currently a regional CA if that matters. Thank you for the input
I have no idea but I’d like to know too. I received CJO first week of the February and just heard from Cisive last week. A little disappointed that’s it’s taking this long because I quit upgrade at my current airline in preparation for training to start at DL. I was guessing first week of April but I have no idea.

From reading on here a lot of people get the interview invite a business day or two after the assessment is completed. I finished my assessment on after prepping for 4 days on Friday afternoon, and they most likely were off today for President’s Day, so like you I’m just waiting and hoping to get the interview invite. Also from reading on here it’s about a week to get the TBNT email which means try again in 6 months.

I did the Delta assessment a few weeks ago and got the invite the next morning. I don't have inside info, but I don't think the Cog/reaction tests are as important as the personality questionnaire. They might be trying to drag the type-A out of you with the tests and then ask you a lot of "lesser of two evils" style questions. On the personality portion, I stuck to the middle, for the most part, and avoided anything related to anger, manipulation, solo-operator. Leaned towards "team player" answers. I spent the most time on the personality section thinking about what they were asking. The choices are all bad, but I chose personal flaws over impacting others.

An example of how bad I did on the cog/reaction tests: I thought I was still doing the pre-test practice (badly) on one of them when I discovered I was half-way through the real deal, which didn't go much better.

The BRG/RMI and ATC parts seem applicable, but the rest are "do the best you can" but don't sweat it, as far as I can tell.

It wasn’t single engine, if it was I think the examiner would have been a little more lenient. But like I said it’s my bad for trying to coach when that should have been done on the ground. However a few other check airmen thought it was a bit too harsh too. Oh well, won’t let it get me down!

My friend failed a 121 sim ride also. He got hired at Delta afterwards. I like your chances.

I’d make an effort to inject the invent before it comes up from them. Shows more forthcoming and honesty then if it gets pulled out of you.

The first thing you’ll do in the panel interview is go over your record. They’ll ask if it’s accurate and all that. I’d stop right then and say, no unfortunately I recently made a mistake in training I need to share with you that’s not on my record yet.

Failing one ride is not failing a whole training program. Especially when you’re prepping for the interview, etc. That’s your lesson learned. Just make sure you own it and don’t try to pass it off as, well I’ve got too much going on or the examiner was a jerk, etc.

Default Interview Invite Email

I passed the assessment and received the interview invite email last week. It says to contact them within 7 days to schedule interview. I’ve made multiple attempts (calls and voicemails) each week day to contact the pilot selection team to schedule the interview. Still haven’t gotten through and have not heard back and it’s day 7. I emailed them as well with no response back yet. I’m sure they are very busy with all the hiring but the voicemail says they will contact you back within 24 hours. Is anyone else having this issue? How long did it take for them to contact you back to schedule the interview?

Pretty sure they were closed the last three days. Give them a couple tries throughout the day and leave a message. Might be just bad timing.
