Target to be repeatedly successful at medium. However, the sudoku just gets harder with each one. I've been told on that one they value the right answers more than just moving on to the next one.

I would say it’s been fairly common - read back through this thread and you’ll see dozens of folks that have gotten the TBNT but try again in six months news (including myself). My understanding is you’re back in the pool of eligible applicants at the 6 mo point. Unless you’re heart is set on Delta I would cast a wide net and apply anywhere you think you’d be happy working. That is what I did and I have a CJO from my other top choice major. If nothing else applying/interviewing elsewhere is practice for when you hopefully get a second shot at Delta after the 6 mo point! My two cents…

I recently just received the failure yesterday, and I was feeling pretty bummed about it as well. But, just cast a wide net and keep pushing. If you haven’t gotten hired by someone in 6 months, be ready to try again for Delta.

For those of you that failed I will let you in on the secret.

Delta has a tier system for applicants. 1, 2, and 3.
1= Meets all desired experience and all boxes checked.
2= missing one or two things.
3= Missing a lot but felt like letting you come In anyway.

ever notice they just tell you you failed but never tell you what score you got? That is because the passing score is not the same for everyone. T1 does not need near the score a t3 does to make it.

if you happened to see the list with all of your names on it, it is in alphabetical order and color coded. Green tier 1, blue tier 2 and purple tier 3. The legend proving that is on the bottom left of the sheet.

Copy, going through everything at the medium level. Also, just want to confirm, for the Delta Online Assessment, when you login to that there are no practice tests there? You just log in and take the assessment.

So any idea what tier military would be? I'm retiring after 21 years in the Air Force and got the fix it email like a day after putting the application in and then the Online Assessment emails 2 weeks later.

Pretty sure it gives a short practice session like 20 seconds and the directions are very clear. I just did AA too so I might be getting confused.

For the ATC comm use a pen and paper. You can listen three times. It doesn't ding you. Use headphones.

The sudoku has colors on the actual version. They are harder on the actual test if you ask me. Sometimes you had to build most of the puzzle to figure it out. I didn't guess I tried to work thru them. Didn't get thru as many as I like but passed.

The matching the shapes one is super easy. Don't stress on that. The cut-e shapes matching on hard is ridiculous. Actual version is pretty easy. Practice on medium.

The multi tasking one is slightly different. Come up with a system for you. I suck at quick math. So I would knock out the runway line up, and the number repeat part, then do the math problem last. If I had to guess, I would. I practiced that one a lot and had a decent flow going. Practice on hard was my technique.

The flying thru tunnel one sucks without a mouse. Use the speed up slow down function if required. And use the cue on the bottom of the screen to see where you are in the tunnel. My first few tries I didn't use that. Much easier when you do.

I think if you practice the cute-e just prior to the actual exam and slam a coffee you'll be fine. Good warm up.

Thank you for the info. Currently beating how to play Sudoku into my head.

Everyone on here is saying this is the hardest part of the test and from reading on here there are a lot of ways to do things wrong so spending a bit of time on this today. I've read up on there on the various comments and have a quick question. Is it 4 Rows/Columns or 5 Rows/Columns on the Online Assessment? in the Cute-e they have both. The 4 Rows/Columns are a lot easier.

Just google sudoku strategies and download a sudoku game and practice with that. My mistake was accidentally clicking a shape trying to solve a puzzle forgetting to click a box first

It starts off with 4x4 then moves to 5x5. Practice Cut-e on the hard setting and you'll be fine. The real test was much more simple as each symbol has its own color so its really obvious what the "?" square needs to be correct.
