You should have Christmas Day off. Sims will
be running every other day though.

I would not expect to start sims quickly. I’m finishing indoc tomorrow and none of us are starting sims til Dec. Some as last as the last few days of December. Most of us have 48ish hours off around Christmas.

is it specific to a particular fleet?
this does look good for continuing this pace of hiring…

What is the new hire indoc footprint? From previous posts, I gather it's customary to have time off between indoc and sims. I'm trying to reverse-engineer the timeline for a 220 IQ course that begins 12/21 (NMC, followed by 141C the next day, 200's begin 12/26). Assuming I'll be paired with a NH. Could be someone who's taking indoc right nowI suppose.
I'm coming from 350/B, 7ER/A before that. Looking forward to the course and working with enthusiastic new folks! Hoping for a partner with some Canadair or Collins Proline experience to the extent that helps with running the FMS. If not, I'm sure we will cope. I hear it's a good program.

I think that gets shaken up with Done By 1. Once there is no money motive to make FO/FO pairings they’ll go back to the way it was supposed to be done.
The footprint for Indoc is start on Tuesday of week one and finish on Wednesday night of week 2. The contractual min turn is 4 days, but its usually more like 7 to 14 lately. Obviously subject to lots of flexing.
