If a new hire wants quick seniority for certain days off over all else, which aircraft/base should they bid? I’m assuming NYC or maybe DTW 717?

for the Indoc class that started on 26 Oct:

They got their drop Thursday morning 21 Oct. they had to turn it in by noon on Friday 22 Oct. They found on what they got same day around 1600.

Probably, I’m not sure. Honestly, I got all hopped up on candy that I stole from a 4 year old skeleton and attempted a joke. It was bad, and my current sugar hangover is making it that much worse.
