New Hire Class Drops

I get what you are saying, I do. But I respectfully disagree. The only pay band here is WB. The fact that less than a few dollars/hour separate rates within the same category, beliesan attitude by the company to take every place where they can. And the fact the 767-300 pays a NB rate is my closing argument.
I am unwilling to let the company off the hook by even lightheartedly talking about us having pay bands. Maybe next contract.

Oh come on man, we totally have banding.

For the record, I agree the 767 should be WB pay. That said, it irks me every time I hear this line, this is only true because NEO payrates got increased to match the 757, which should be a good thing!
Anytime I hear a ER captain complain about getting NB rates, its a bit disenguous because then the real issue should be that the 757 and 767 pay the same. I'll admit i'm oblivious to any background on why they're the same rate.

And I’m only slightly joking. ER should be banded up yesterday. International pilots at a discount.

That said, every 763 that is replaced gets replaced with a WB pay banded airframe, and top pay jobs

be MAX 10s will replace a portion of the 7ER fleet. Including the 763s. The ultimate question is will we have more net widebody PAYING jets in 5 years than 5 years ago. My guess it will be a wash with no overall gain.

Considering we have more wide body “paying” jets now in the fleet than we did in 2019, I’ll take that bet.
