exactly. I was a 05 number and ended up with 4 others with numbers <05. So I got my equipment I wanted.

Totally random, depends on the preferences of those around you. In my class the bottom 4 got the ER, the next one it was the 717

CJO 2/29, told May Indoc. They told us they just that day got told they need to go from ~75 people in April and May to ~110.

NWA went from the APE (advanced preference entitlment) to APA (advanced position award). You entered a bid on your contingent preference listing (CPL) which after the deadline becameyour effective preferece listing (EPL). And this doesnt include the bidding for TDY.

So that's why the merger happened. A meeting of the minds regarding ridiculous acronyms (RRA).

Anybody have any strategy/tips/advice on aircraft drop for someone NYC local? Zero preference on 73N, A320, or 7ER. Not typed in any of them, just want best QOL, $ opportunites, etc. Within 90 minutes from all three airports.

im on the 320 and love it, but if I were in your situation local to NYC, I’d be gunning for the 7ER.

7ER has the best flying and the most variety, but currently not alot of opprotunity to pickup extra $ except maybe when the summer flying comes back. 73N probably has the most opprotunities to pickup extra flying, and probably the quickest seniority movement, but someone might know more than me on that.

Do you have a preference of a specific airport? 7ER is only out of JFK except for a few charter trips out of EWR. 73N is also almost exclusivley JFK, some LGA trips but not a lot. 320 will get you a better mix of the 3 airports.
