It is still the last 4 but their hire date is 3 months before they actually start indoc so they were assigned their aircraft on their hire date.

Thanks good to know. I’m just trying to understand. So if Endeavor flows are assigned their aircraft 3 months in advance and someone gets hired in their class with a higher social a month later outside the flow, are they potentially bumped/displaced from that initial award?

It's a completely different drop; there's no interaction with the OTS bid. 9E flows are hired and begin accruing seniority in Month 'A' but are "held back" at 9E until they're assigned a DL class date (and onboarded) in Month C/D due to the staffing shortages at DCI.

This. Plus once they get “hired” with their drop they are eligible to bid on AE’s during the 3 month wait for indoc. They generally won’t be able to switch from their initial drop aircraft but they definitely can change bases just like the people who started indoc on their flow hire date.

Is there any sort of recency of experience requirement for class? I’m still stuck on reserve at my current carrier and haven’t flown in 19 days. As my class approaches towards the end of next month, is there any concern I should have about problems with my logbook and what not if I continue to not fly? I will retain my AMEL currency if that means anything.

Youre going to get 'current' in everything you need during sims.

Thats what I figured. But they aren’t going to balk when they see my logbook and go “why haven’t you flown very much?”

Delta has reserves who don’t fly much (not many, but they do exist), they’ll get it. If they ask, just explain.

I don’t even think they look at your logbook again. You’re hired, you’re waiting for class. You only needed 250hrs of recency experience for the interview. That’s it, if you can’t fly because they don’t use you, it’s not your fault.

Dont sweat it!!! Welcome to Delta!
