how long is it taking new guys these days to get SEA narrowbody/widebody?

Widebody just dropped down to about 5 years. The game has changed with the new monthly AEs, most narrowbody fleets should be awarded SEA pretty quick (I'd say decent chance first bid and reliably under 3 months, BUT pulling those numbers out of my ass).

WB may have dropped to 5 years, but 5 years right now is seniority number mid-10000. For a new hire right now, to get to that mid 10000 May take a decade.

I know for a fact guys in indoc were able to bid on this last AE and were awarded SEA. They will have to serve two months in purgatory (NYC).
