The last AE had 30 320B posted, with 25 awarded, but 22 bid out. Still lots of openings.
How often do the AEs normally come out? What exactly is an AE?

"Advanced Entitlement" is a vacancy bid, where we can bid for openings on other aircraft, bases, or seats.

Historically, there have been 4-5 a year. In the new contract, the conversion window (time the company has to convert all awarded positions) is shrinking slightly, which is expected to drive an additional AE or two annually.

Default From AS to DL?

The quick and dirty. Been at AS less than six months and got the interview invite from DL. I would need to shoot for SEA or SLC at DL; worth the jump for what Delta has to offer? This was very unexpected so it’s taken me by surprise, thanks.

Default Airbus options

Was wondering how senior the A220s are going in the class drops. I’m not young anymore and with a SSN in the halfway point, I’m wondering how tough it might be to get an aircraft or schedule that has limited red eye trips. Appreciate the help.

How senior/junior any plane goes in a class is kind of a crapshoot. The guy with a 9xxx SSN could coincidentally live in Seattle or Queens. Wasn't there a class where NYC 330 went to the class plug?
