I don’t think we will see more than 50/week. They have already started talking about winding down this hiring pace about a year from now (to 100/month or so)

AA has a massive amount of retirements in the next 5-7 years

UA is taking hundreds of new aircraft that are either growth or regional replacements (most will not replace current mainline AC)

we don’t seem to have either of those things going for us right now to that extent. We have some growth aircraft coming, but not hundreds like UA. And we have retirements, but not on the scale of AA. So I don’t see dl expanding hiring to crazier numbers beyond the crazy numbers they are doing now.

Heard the latest to be given 8/16 was 5/12 CJO! Any news yet from the 5/13 and 5/17 CJOs so far? Can't wait to start!
First 4 Tuesdays of every month are start days for BI. They skip the 5th one.

I got the CJO on 5/6 and received my class date of 16 Aug yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

start class very soon, am really high SS so I’ll have a descent shot at my first choice.

I live in Florida and moving is not a possibility yet.

Can someone give me some advice on what I should do? bid ATL or NYC…. Would the longer commute to NY provide a better quality of life than reserve at Atlanta for a longggg time?

Thank you so much!
I read a rumor on one of those Facebook pages that that now a lower SS number has a higher class seniority. Can someone confirm or debunk this rumor?

ER does international and domestic. The 765 (767-400) aircraft is larger/holds more pax than all the 7ER category aircraft, so makes sense it does international. Avionics is also far improved, as well as other systems. It's a nicer aircraft, in my opinion. 7ER does have nice trip variety though, great options for doing international and domestic trips. The only domestic the 765 has is JFK-LAX (out of NYC anyway). JFK-HNL is supposed to be a thing this winter. Other than that, you get a select number of international destinations that will vary. Small fleet, so it can only have so many destinations. 7ER is a much larger fleet, so more destinations.
