Obviously this could all bs…. But BS eluded to the next AE not being a 365 in a recent town hall. But who knows. I guess we will find out in a couple months.

Actually almost everything you need to know is pinned to the top of the Delta forum.

One thing for those unfamiliar, a 365 AE must include displacements (even if they end up not actually displacing anyone).

Reading tea leaves, I wouldn’t doubt if they hang onto the 365 until they are ready to draw down SEA7ER, which probably won’t be until the fall.

Just one man’s opinion, .02, DYODD, BWYWWWYB, else start next, etc.

Seeing that my SSN is in the 1XXX range, I am also curious as to where I would fall in a similar position. Seems to me that there may be a number of 7ER and 717 slots that may be left for the more junior ones in each class.

How long would it take to get a line for: NYC 7ER, ATL 7ER, DTW 717 and ATL 717?

I ended up getting my third choice with my 2XXX SSN. Very difficult to accurately gauge what you’ll get. While extremely unlikely, it’s possible that everyone else in your class could have a lower SSN. Similarly, it’s possible that all the higher SSN’s in your class prefer different bases/equipment than you. So many variables, good luck!

Not being a 365? What does that mean?

My SSN is 1xxx and I got my second choice. 60% of my class was less than 3xxx. Don’t stress it until you meet your class and get the drop. Even then, you could still get what you want if everyone is trying to go somewhere else. I’m a west coast guy which played in my favor since most were trying for ATL.

365 day conversion window. The company is allowed one per calendar year, but said bid must include at least one displacement (forcing a catergory to get smaller/close). The rest of the bids are all 210 day conversion windows.

I'm just curious given I'm in class March 8th. How does the SSN bidding work? Those that have 99xx are top of the class or bottom of the class? My last 4 is 003x. I'm either screwed or very lucky. Anybody care to clarify how it works?
