I was, thank you! The bid is due 3PM EST today and I’m eager to learn my low SSN fate. Thanks again.

Say I get awarded A320 NYC out of indoc but I want SLC. (Any plane but prefer A320) How does the process work for getting back to SLC. Is it easier to switch planes or stay in the same plane or does it not matter? Meaning Is it easier to bid the A320 and transfer to SLC on the A320 or does it not matter say I was a NYC 7ER Pilot it would it take just as long waiting for the next AE (minus going through training again) What is a realistic time frame of me having to commute before I can be awarded a different base?
Bid the A220 at SLC.

I live in Atlanta. If I were to bid on the atl320 from looking at this it seems like I would have a descent shot at getting it?

It seems like it from looking at this. I'd probably put atl320 first,
atl7er second, and atl717 third to try and avoid commuting. Also if I understand from reading this thread they assign aircraft based off of people's preferences and then if that does not work then allocate based off of who has the lowest last four of their SSN.

The other thing to note is that virtually everyone was able to change bases I’d they wanted. If you take an airframe you want in a base you don’t, you probably won’t have to wait long. No guarantees, just food for thought.

ok so theoretically if someone was awarded 220 NYC and they want to be in SLC you think that would be possible soonish? Maybe next AE?

Junior SLC award was approximately 450 numbers off the bottom of the Seniority List, so, yes. ~2.5 months on property. Having said that, every AE is an individual event, so never any guarantees. Good Luck.

Awarded soonish, yes. The next AE is likely a 365 so you could transfer immediately or 364 days later. Worst case scenario would be late spring/early summer of 2023.
