Well they’re talking about having 16k total pilots on the list by 2023, but they don’t specify what part of 2023. Probably doable in 23 months (end of 2023) since we’re at what, 13k right now? So 2000/year for two years minus retirements gets us to 16k.

Short answer: No
long answer: only positions that were left unbid from the most recent AE can be offered to new hires. On the most recent AE the most junior 330 FO was a 2017 hire and I think the 350 was a 2016 hire.
while this could change, I don’t think we will see the 330/350 to new hires at DL. 767-400 maybe, but as of now, I don’t see Airbus WB to new hires.

No, in order for new hires to have a spot it has to be unfilled on the most recent bid. Considering how terrible narrow body flying is it is highly unlikely that any 350/330 spots go unfilled. The first true WB category that might go unfilled is the 767-400. Eventually the 330 might go unfilled if they really ramp up staffing for new deliveries but don’t hold your breath. Although there are some people who are predicting that it may well happen.
