You’re reading it correctly. The A220 was the most senior, the 7ER the most junior.

I chuckle at folks trying to read the tea leaves to figure out what they will end up with based on another class’ drop. Different people have different priorities. Every class is different. Put your requests in based on what’s best for you, regardless of your last 4.

This varies highly by class. My class, 320 and 73N was top 50% but the first 6 in class were all 320/73. The 220 was everywhere from 20-80%. 717 almost all the last left. 220 getting popular for folks who want west coast quickly. SEA in recent drops too.

Really just depends. I was better than what the statistical seniority for me should’ve been, but your results may vary.

Also remember it goes 9999 as most senior and 0000 as most junior. I was a 6 and it got me 36% in class.

5*** was top 22% in my class. It’s random. Just put your preferences in order and remember, even your last pick is better than a lot of other jobs out there. And expect an AE around the corner.

And yes, the bottom 20% folks are at high risk of last pick.

Based on what data?

Most guys don’t end up with their last choice. No one in my class got less than their 3/5 choice. Of the 10+ guys that have been hired with my rec, none have got their last choice.
