Please correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't the MEC voted in things that did not go to MEMRAT?

the surrender monkeys of c44 have stolen the union again. EB, GH, JL and RG are rejoicing at their fortune.

I guess as long as the makeup of the MEC stays the same, the results will be similar. After all, they give the direction to the NC not the chairman. I just don’t get all the angst. It’s the same political BS as before with Malone, Bartles and when RS was elected.

Maybe the MEC thinks a better relationship with man agent, while still holding the line, will yield better results. Time will tell

How many times has MEMRAT been waived since they required it. What were the lasting changes to PWA of those agreements that bypassed MEMRAT over the past year or so?

OBTW. Surrender monkeys, Komrades, the Kompany.....words you constantly repeat that make you difficult to take seriously. Maybe take your act over to CC. They’ll LOVE you over there.......

lighten up francis - I think you pants are on too tight

Surrender monkeys, yeah. I'm calling it that. Cause that's what they are. See what happens with AJ at the helm. Actions louder than words dontcha know.

I never use komrades BTW. Falsely and erroneously attributed to me. This is APC, so I expect that sort of thing.

What is CC?

Cheers

I really hope that is the case.

Obviously there is something going on that we don’t know about. We’re not in that room (or on Zoom) with 19 people constantly hashing out the details of LOA-03 and -04, two agreements that I think were pretty good compromises. At the moment the heavy lifting seems to be done. Maybe they’re trying to position us better for full Section 6 negotiations after we turn the corner next year? Maybe the majority thinks asking for $3B a year more for our $4B a year contract won’t hack it this time? Whatever the underpinnings for what happened are I trust the MEC had good reason.

Google search of “Khit Khat” yielded no results.

I was told that JA voted no on TA1 and that his frustration with it is what drove him to get involved again with ALPA. I believe he even touched on that in the letter he emailed to all pilots indicating his desire to run for MEC Chairman. It seems like the whole perception that he was a TA1 supporter was started/driven by one of the whackadoodles on Chit Chat.
