🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah I guess I fooled them on that one. If only I had mentioned that I’ve ridden the 2nd Jumpseat on a 737 to get to/from work more than once, I’m sure I would have failed it. 😂😂

Same thought process for me. Selfishly....I'm hoping for a CBL. I don't see that happening for the narrow bodies now that this is out there. Hopefully I'm wrong and they'll still be the ability for a more senior pilot to get the 35 hour CBL vs being junior and getting the 30 hours with no commitment
I'd be very surprised if CBLs are offered with 20-04 in the picture

hopefully they bring you guys on, I’m really rooting for you all. I’ve got a friend in the pool and I’m really hoping it is a seamless transition. They have 2 options, they can call everyone back in for a quick re interview or they can start over. Earlier this year they were ready to bring you all on as future DL captains, hopefully they honor their deals.
I may be the only one but I’m hoping for maxes. 73N was my first choice in training and I was really liking the 737. I’d love to get to fly new ones

Don't forget the add-ons.
ARCOS batch size has been a thorn in my side since it was implemented. I absolutely HATE being called in the middle of the night for somebody else's GS, I need zero practice being awakened in the middle of the night for no reason. The new GS trigger is a significant improvement, with a 72 hour ALV we're now looking at a 67 hour trigger -- 8 fewer hours at single pay and even during the busiest months there's still a 3 hour reprieve. Those who would've been furloughed get more hours than anybody who would've previously signed up for LOA 20-03 blank lines, and those still on the payroll won't pay 1% of their earnings towards COBRA since the company will be covering medical. I'm unfamiliar with market based cash balance plans but I assume they must help some % of the pilot group. Finally, lower TLV is GOOD. We'd have killed for a lower TLV in the summer of '19 and now that's a company ask!!! Assuming we get another 15-20 years before the next black swan, the company will want that TLV back at some point and we'll be in the enviable position of telling them NTY or selling it back for a tasty profit.

You nailed it.
TLV is a much bigger deal than ALV and it will drive all-around improvements.
A smaller window means more predictable ALVs month to month and more predictable GS triggers.

You’re chasing around this WS boogeyman. The WS is nothing new and OOBWS isn’t new either. There might be a couple trips every bid period covered by WS that may have been GS, but really I see a negligible effect. Especially with smaller ARCOS batches.

Do they plan on keeping the 220 guys on who were supposed to be furloughed/soon to be UNA now to staff the aircraft until they can train people? If that’s the case, are the senior UNAs pay protected for more than the 30 hours? 🤷♂️
