Very happy for all those folks in limbo and frankly stunned at the limited downside to this AIP. Selfishly I hope I am able to take advantage of some of this voluntary leave and not be stuck in an undermanned category with either no company offers of leave or a voted down LOA 20-3.

Personal opinion only, but the Presidential election won’t be decided on 11/03. You didn’t add any smiley faces but I’m guessing you’re at least partly joking about bookings going up after 11/3, but the winner of this election won’t be agreed to until a few days before the inauguration.

It’s purely a chronological coincidence. In all seriousness, this alleged increase in bookings has nothing to do with the election. That’s the gut feeling I got when he posted it.

Earlier this year they were ready to bring you all on as future DL captains, hopefully they honor their deals.

I may be the only one but I’m hoping for maxes. 73N was my first choice in training and I was really liking the 737. I’d love to get to fly new ones

How did you slip by the MMPI? Weren’t there questions about “self harm” and “enjoying punishment”?

it doesn’t say the UNA of 30hrs is limited to or only for those that got furlough notices.

sorry just something I noticed.....some of your pilots are talking about squishy language? That may be it. I can see that backfiring big time.
that's not the real writing you know. Let's wait for the actual legal writing before we start to bring up this conspiracy.

Anyways, as a new hire in March who's been on training pay this entire time, no type, and no one willing to call me for work because I have "Delta" on my resume, thank you ALPA, MEC and the NC for this great deal. Fingers crossed I can fly in 2022 and this will help my family and I survive through 2021. Fingers crossed this passes.

Default How will LOA #20-04 affect LOA #20-03?

Just wondering if the recently released details of LOA #20-04 will affect anyones vote on #20-03? Is there any chance for 20-04 if 20-03 fails? Part of me thinks its a nice agreement that the company has no intention of finalizing if LOA #20-03 fails. They're coming out now with something that looks good (like protecting all from furlough until 2022) but when/if LOA #20-03 gets voted down they'll just pick up their toys and go home. 20-04 will be swiftly taken off the table at which point they'll tell us we have no one to blame but ourselves.

From what I've been hearing out on the line it sounds like 20-03 is doomed. Keep in mind my sample size is small but... I did have 7 FO's on a 4-day trip. The represented many bases and all but 1 were pretty strong NO votes.

First of all good on the NC and MEC! IMO whether 20-03 passes or not doesn’t affect 20-04. If 20-03 doesn’t pass wouldn’t that mean 1941 are affected vs 1721 if 20-03 passes? I don’t think that’s enough for the company to back out. I really think management likes the optics and PR it gains from saying nobody at Delta will be furloughed.

My guess is that 20-04 changes many 20-03 no votes to yes. If the former is as good as it seems on the surface, the latter needn't be voted down to simply give The Man the proverbial finger. Some of the plusses of 20-03 may never materialize, but at worst I think it's still a small win for a small number of pilots.

FWIW, I am likely to change my own 20-03 vote from an emphatic No to a benumbered Yes.

Speaking of optics... did our NC just hand the FAs PS commuting?
