44 wanted to rollover with 15% across the board reductions. It would never passed memrat and furloughs would have commenced. It was the likes of SEA and LAX which made this possible as it has much better odds at memrat. Have to wait for the details.

44 should be recalled.

Couldn’t agree more...I’ve felt this whole time that we’ve squandered the opportunity to exchange short-term hours reduction for permanent, substantive gains for the pilot group.

I have to say great job to the MEC. This truly is a win win.

Care to furnish proof of this?

Someone tell me why they're going to vote no on this.

I’m with Sailing here. I’ve been very critical of this MEC for basically saying no to everything and not accomplishing much. This deal is a clearly a win for Delta pilots with little downside. Well done MEC.

Lots of hard work done by our NC.. who recently have received a ton of flack as well as the MEC.

This makes the UAL look pretty ugly.. my UAL friend couldn’t believe this is potentially our deal.

Additionally for our mil UNA friends on MLOA, then will still receive the 30hours/bennies as well.

Bravo

That said, I’m voting yes on 20-03 and barring any Easter eggs, yes on this deal too. I am very surprised at this deal, I thought for sure I would be strongly against it. If the language is solid, the NC and MEC deserve a huge congratulations but more importantly the 17xx can finally relax. Very good news. 👍

UAL deal was a disaster for their pilot group. They lowered the bar.....again. Thank god they didn’t drag down everyone else in the industry.
