I feel details are missing. So if I'm current / qual'd but facing furlough...the Co is going to UNA me and pay me? I'm thinking they will want to keep as many junior pilots flying if that is what those pilots desire. Why not keep them flying with WS/YS/GS, with a modification to the PWA for picking up flying...then they don't have training on the other side of COVID?

I'm going to catch some serious arrows fired my way for this....but what the hell.
AIP looks pretty good overall. But from a completely selfish standpoint, I was hoping to take some time away from Delta. That hope was with SILs or now the Continuous Blank Line. But...the CBL is only if the LOA 20-03 passes AND they offer it in my category. So there is the part of me that looks at this and thinks, "wait a minute, I'm senior to the furloughs. But they get 30 hours a month with zero obligation, and I get 35 (yes I know it is more with vacation, training, etc... but only if they offer it my way) and have to maintain currency."
Volley the arrows my way....

Question: I'm in the 1721 (aka going away regardless of LOA 20-03 MEMRAT)
My quick read of this is 30 hours, no obligation.
Free to go do reserve orders, another job, etc? I have looked into some diving jobs that are overseas doing oilfield work that are decent, but I can't be back on 2 weeks notice. Hell, the decompression can take that long depending on how deep I'd be working. Also if you think Zoom meeting with family are bad, try doing it while breathing Heliox. I'd rather go on orders with my reserve unit (parent unit is deploying, Reservists can come if they want) but I've done dumber things for money.
How fast is the callback window?
I have year long orders I can go on starting late November-Early January depending on when I can get cleared by medical if I want them. I have SWA buddies who are out on their Paid Leaves doing long term orders and it's no big deal.
If there is no gotchas in this, looks like an easy yes for me.
What's Delta's take on that gonna be?

Undecided on this until a pro-con comes out. A little ticked that when some asked to work on an LOA to address the lack of reinstatement rights or pay protection for those negatively impacted by the PWA oversight that many on this forum and many reps said no way. We aren't opening the PWA and what about the junior guys potentially affected by that. Yet we can drop the TLV and pay UNA 30 hrs/month and that's all good. Seems a little hypocritical.
