At first blush, I'm not seeing much to get upset over? Furloughee's get 30 hours, ALV's are already at 72 in almost all categories. TLV going down by 3 hours now, (and 2 permamantly), in short term probably only affects true WB's this winter? Plus, lowering GS trigger? And MBCP in there too?

What am I missing for the non 1941 (1720)? Doesn't seem to be much bad in there for the rest of us?

Brunt of the hit is taken by UNAs, but they keep a job and benefits. Seems a fair deal overall and plenty of upside for those flying. Need to see the language, but at first glance it’s palatable and well thought out.

So any current UNA is only paid 30 hours until category reinstatement or a status change to new equipment? Is there any reason a UNA won't be re-instated within a couple months?

The way it reads, it seems the 200-ish UNA's who are not on the furlough list, it's a non-factor. The rest, that would have been furloughed 1941/1721, will stay UNA until 2021 unless CARES 2 passes.

Anyone read that differently?

It looks like this deal also pushes potential furlough date back to the end of November.

Since the UNA's will have no obligation to the company for the duration, it doesn't seem the are that worried about needing them "for the recovery"... Not sure what to think about that.

Like RA, "There will not be a better deal". Except, when there is...

Can someone explain what our current TLV window is and what the lowest ALV can be with the new agreement. I am a widebody guy so I am guessing I will see 72 hours/month till next summer with this agreement?

Another question. Does this mean the 1722/1941 pilots will be paid to sit home the duration of this agreement or until given a position?

Thanks

I'm going to catch some serious arrows fired my way for this....but what the hell.

AIP looks pretty good overall. But from a completely selfish standpoint, I was hoping to take some time away from Delta. That hope was with SILs or now the Continuous Blank Line. But...the CBL is only if the LOA 20-03 passes AND they offer it in my category. So there is the part of me that looks at this and thinks, "wait a minute, I'm senior to the furloughs. But they get 30 hours a month with zero obligation, and I get 35 (yes I know it is more with vacation, training, etc... but only if they offer it my way) and have to maintain currency."

Volley the arrows my way....
