This is false. You’re confused by the fact that the studies of the vaccine were not designed to test the vaccine’s ability to reduce asymptomatic transmission. That doesn’t mean they don’t, it means the researchers sought answers to a different question. Great news, though, you’ll be proven wrong soon as the data is rolling in on that exact question.
About 60K real doctors would concur. I stole that from them. Not my words.
Regardless, it is good to see travel ticking up. Hypochondriacs and the fearful sheep have a wooby now in the double shot triple fauxchi mask wear path. Whatever, so long as they continue to purchase tickets on airplanes.
ICEBURG: I don't get why you are so butt hurt over a contrarian stance. Must be getting close to the target as you seem to spin off at about 11,000 rpm at the mention of anything anti-fauxchi, anti-vax or anti-lockdown. Not very mature. Sure you are a Delta Pilot?
I don't recall you being right about much posting on here. Other than to express much anal chafing at something you deemed outside your comfort zone. The thread for brain dead non-critical thinkers is back on FB.

it is a vaccine, and evidence is showing that it does reduce both transmission and infection.

Phins and I have spoken extensively in private. He’s a sharp guy who is looking out for his fellow aviators. Whether you agree or not, you can’t deny the vaccine hasn’t been around enough to study LONG TERM effects. That’s all we’re trying to say here.

Oh, I didn’t get that at all from your two paragraph rant against me. Maybe be a little clearer next time when you try to explain what you’re saying.

One question for you, oofff and the others: Do you believe in what Anthony Fauci says is the truth?

Since I haven’t mentioned or discussed Fauci here in about 9 months, what specific statements are you asking about?

I think Fauci is doing this country a disservice. I think the lockdowns aren’t effective and cause much more harm than good. I also think that scientists have rigorously studied mRNA vaccines for a long time, and though this is the first one used in practice, based on the science behind them that they are safe. There will not be hundreds of millions of people (and counting) that are going to have issues in 5 years. I also believe that molecular biologists and immunologists know a hell of a lot more about the vaccine, it’s efficacy, and safety, than your typical MD. Similar to how airline pilots wouldn’t be qualified
to talk about the specifics of landing on an aircraft carrier just because they are professional pilots (unless of course they were former naval aviators). It’s possible to hate the politics but trust the science. Nobody is poisoned, and the data about reducing transmission is mounting at a tremendous rate.
I don’t think you’re a fool for not getting it. I don’t think anybody is. There’s good reason to have the skepticism you have. But at the end of the day, there are answers to your skepticism and it’s up to the individual to weigh both sides of that coin. See you in 5 years.

I don’t like Fauci. I disagree with the lockdowns. I am in favor of the vaccine. You cannot simply assume there’s two camps, one that is pro-fauci, pro-mask, pro-lockdown, pro-vaccine, and one that is the opposite. It’s possible to be in favor of one more or of those positions while not in others.

Or is it the extra 5:15 of pay?
